| The Group's principal activities are construction, repair, and overhaul of commercial and military ships and vessels. The Group operates in four segments, namely naval ship construction, naval ship repairs, refits and upgrades, and commercial ship construction and repairs. It operates from its facility in the Mussafah Industrial Area of Abu Dhabi where it undertakes vessel construction using steel, marine grade aluminum alloy and advanced composites. It provides weapon combat systems for the purpose of littoral warfare defense, patrol tasks, coast guard, law enforcement, electronic search missions, and fishery and exclusive economic zone protection for a range of vessels. The naval ships include Corvettes, fast troop carriers, landing craft and assault boats, while the commercial vessels include tug boats, dredgers and product tankers. |
