The Group's principal activities are power generation, water desalination, upstream oil/gas, pipelines, gas storage and LNG regas. The Group has operations in UAE, Canada, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States, Ghana, India, Saudi Arabia and Morocco. On 31-Mar-2008, the Group employs around 2,800 people. The Group was established on 21 June 2005. The Group is listed on the Abu Dhabi stock exchange. The Group acquired PrimeWest Energy Inc. in January 2008, Northern North Sea in November 2008 and BE Red Oak Holding LLC in the fourth quater of 2008.
