The Group's principal activity is to develop, manufacture and market refined vegetable oils and speciality fats for the food industry as well as chemical products for the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. The Group operates in three segments: Chocolate & Confectionery Fats, Food Ingredients and Technical Products & Feed. The Chocolate & Confectionery Fats segment manufactures vegetable speciality fats used to replace cocoa butter in chocolates. The Food Ingredients segment conduct research within specific requirement areas, and develop products which meets these requirements. The Technical Products & Feed segment focus on the role of vegetable oils in environment and health, such as lubricants in machinery and ingredients in animal feed. The Group operates globally. In 2008, the Group acquired Rapsona, Sweden.
