| The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and supply plastic resins and compounds, which are used as raw materials by its customers. The group operates in two geographic business segments, North America and Europe. The principal product lines of the Group consist of proprietary and custom-formulated engineered plastic compounds, color concentrates and additives that improve the appearance and performance of plastics in a number of specialized applications. The Group's plastic compounds are sold to manufacturers and suppliers in various markets such as packaging, automotive, consumer products, electrical/electronics, office equipment and agriculture. On August, 2005 it formed A. Schulman Invision Inc it's wholly owned subsidiary to manufacture and sell multi-layer, decorative plastic products in sheet form, under the trade name Invision(R). On 21-Jun-2007, it acquired Delta Plast Group. |
