| The Group's principal activity is to develop embedded memories and other intellectual property components. Semiconductor companies utilize these products to design and manufacture complex integrated circuits in high volume applications like portable computing devices, cellular phones, consumer multimedia products, automotive electronics, personal computers and workstations. The products include random access memories, read-only memories, register files, standard cell products optimized for various manufacturing processes and input/output libraries. They are licensed to the semiconductor manufacturers, fab-less semiconductor companies, foundries and integrated device manufacturers. The Group's trademarks include Artisan, Process-Perfect, and SAGE. On 22-Aug-2004, the Group merged with ARM Holdings plc and Salt Acquisition Corporation. |
