| The Group's principal activities are carried out through three major divisions: primary, semi-manufactured, manufactured. The primary division produces raw materials for different industries such as aluminum foundry alloy ingots, aluminum foundry alloy t-bars and continuous casting ingots, aluminum extrusion billets, aluminum rod, aluminum rolling ingots (slabs), zinc alum sows and pure aluminum ingots. The manufactured division produces rolled and extruded aluminum products such as plates, metal plates, smooth rolls, carpentry systems and industrial profiles. It is also involved in generating energy and providing engineering, construction and industrial building services. Its products are used in the transport industry, building, packaging, electrical conductors, and kitchenware. Primary aluminum and semi-manufactured products divisions are located in Puerto Madryn, Chubut and the manufactured products division in Abasto, Buenos Aires. |
