Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and market road markings, surface protection and to manage security portfolios. The Group is organised into two lines of business: Industrial Operations and Management of Securities. Industrial Operations consists of two business areas: Road Marking and ChemTech. The Road Marking business area comprises of manufacture and sale of thermoplastic material and paint for road marking, as well as a contract road-marking sector, mainly using thermoplastics and paint. The ChemTech business area comprises the manufacture and sale of corrosion protection agents, industrial paints and marking sprays. The Group also manages securities portfolios which focus on companies with sound growth potential and low or moderate cyclical sensitivity. Its primary markets are the Nordic region and Western Europe. The Group acquired Preformed Markings Ltd, in 2006. |
