The Group's principal activities are generation, transmission, distribution and sale of electricity and natural gas. It also provides heat management services to the residents of Milan and of the surrounding municipalities. The Group manages also the waste cycle and the integrated water cycle. Other activities include management of street lighting, traffic light systems, planning and laying down of optical fiber network. On January 1st, 2008 AEM SpA incorporated ASM SpA and AMSA SpA and became A2A SpA. It operates in Italy.
